We are thrilled to introduce you to Ms. Deidre, a remarkable woman who recently participated in our 40 Over 40 portrait experience. Her journey is one of courage, perseverance, and self-discovery.
Originally from Odessa, TX, Ms. Deidre has faced numerous challenges throughout her life. From battling addiction and homelessness to overcoming adversity and turning her life around, she truly embodies resilience. Despite the obstacles she has encountered, Ms. Deidre remains a shining example of strength and determination.
“I wanted my story to reach others to see that it’s never too late and to celebrate me for once…I deserve it and I’m living my best life over 40!” she shared about her decision to participate in the 40 over 40 portrait experience.
For Ms. Deidre, the session exceeded her expectations, thanks to the guidance of Rhonda. With Rhonda’s support, she stepped out of her comfort zone and fulfilled a childhood dream of modeling, even if just for a day. “Without Rhonda, this would not have been possible,” she expressed with gratitude.
Throughout the day, Ms. Deidre felt the presence of her beloved grandmother, Barbara, whose memory lives on in her heart. Despite her initial shyness and self-doubt, Ms. Deidre embraced the opportunity to celebrate herself and her journey.
Reflecting on her greatest achievement, Ms. Deidre shared, “Overcoming adversity and turning my life around.” Her advice to her younger self echoes a message of self-love and resilience.
Passionate about inspiring women facing adversity, Ms. Deidre proves overcoming obstacles to achieve dreams is possible.
Ms. Deidre aims to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology, followed by graduate studies for a Master’s and Doctorate. Her motto, “We are all teachable until we decide to be unteachable,” reflects her commitment to lifelong learning and growth.
