Meet Ms. Jamie, 47, from Stephens, AR, now residing in Foreman, AR. As the owner of a childcare facility and an alumna of Grace Christian Academy, she recently participated in the 40 Over 40 portrait experience. “A gift to myself. Forever young, regardless of a number!” she said.

Describing the photo session as absolutely professional and exceeding expectations, her favorite part was the stunning results. She plans to share the experience with her best friend.

Family holds the utmost importance for Ms. Jamie. Her immediate family includes her husband, Chris, three sons, two daughters, and four granddaughters. Her greatest passion lies in the love and connection she shares with them.

Beyond her roles as a mother and grandmother, Ms. Jamie has a surprising hobby – she loves carpentry work. “I enjoy fixing the broken to restore it to its original form,” she shared as a fun fact.

If she could change one thing about herself, she said “My mouth, it often overloads my brain!”

Ms. Jamie’s proudest achievement is raising God-fearing children who have made positive contributions to society. As the owner of a child care facility, she finds the job incredibly rewarding, emphasizing, “Every day you can make a difference in a child’s life.”

“Live by your words” is her favorite quote, and she imparts this wisdom to her 20-something self and young mothers: “Make choices that you envision your children following suit.”

Looking ahead, Jamie encourages everyone to “Never give up. Work hard every day. There are always rewards in the end.”

Living every day as if it’s her last is a mantra Ms. Jamie proudly follows, and it’s a part of her bucket list.

When asked how she’d like people to describe her, Ms. Jamie simply wishes to be recognized as “a good moral person.” She values her ability to speak with people as her favorite trait.

Confidence, for Ms. Jamie, comes from doing the right thing every day. “I find inner beauty more attractive. A pretty face will only get you so far”, she said.

Talking about generational stereotypes, Ms. Jamie notes, “Younger generations think that we are old and senile. The older generation assumes that we have no concept of life.”

For Ms. Jamie, the top priorities in life include loving every day, expressing love to the family regularly, and never holding grudges.

In Ms. Jamie’s words, being attractive today is synonymous with “being comfortable in your own skin!”

As she continues her journey, Jamie leaves us with valuable advice: “Life choices bear consequences.” It’s a reminder to live authentically and make choices that reflect your values.
