Meet Ms. Ginger, a resilient 50-year-old from Cordell, OK, now in Cankton, LA. She retired from trucking to join the 40 Over 40 portrait experience.

Turning 50 was the perfect time for Ms. Ginger to fulfill her dream of glamour portraits. “I always wanted this,” she said.

The portrait session exceeded Ms. Ginger’s expectations, leaving her feeling beautiful and comfortable throughout the day. From getting her hair and makeup done to posing for the pictures, every moment was cherished. “The whole experience was my favorite,” she exclaimed.

Reflecting on her experience, Ms. Ginger emphasized the transformative power of self-confidence. Despite enduring unimaginable tragedies, including the loss of her son and daughter, she remains resilient and hopeful. “I stand strong and I walk, knowing I have some purpose left here on this earth,” she affirmed.

Ms. Ginger treasures her immediate family, including her sons Jonathan and Andrew, and finds joy in traveling and cruising the seas. She encourages others to embrace life’s moments, hold their heads up high, and cherish the memories.

Feeling most confident during the photo shoot, Ms. Ginger believes that true attractiveness radiates from within. “Being beautiful on the inside illuminates to the outside,” she reflected.

Her ambitions for life include making better memories and exploring the world, all while prioritizing being the best mother, nurturing her own well-being, and maintaining faith.
