Now retired, Ms. Michelle was looking for something new to do when she discovered the 40 Over 40 portrait experience offered by Lee’s Photography.
“It made me feel beautiful and loved despite my scars,” she said. “My favorite part was all of it. It was an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend it.”
A self-described “book nerd”, Ms. Michelle, 48, counts her daughters as her greatest achievement in life. She also counts her former career as very rewarding.
“I was a tax paralegal,” she explained. “I love working with numbers and people.”
The Queen City resident would also love to someday take a trip to Israel. Her future ambitions are simply to enjoy life more.
“The ultimate secret of life is the sure knowledge of death. For without it, man would not strive to leave his mark upon the Earth.”
She also believes it is important to do two more things.
“Don’t sweat the small stuff and breathe.”
Ms. Michelle also included a few portraits at the end with her new German Shepherd puppy Zeus. He was so adorable. Who doesn’t love a sweet puppy with puppy breath?
