Ms. Amber’s 40 Over 40 Portrait Experience was a transformative journey for the 45-year-old Licensed Practical Nurse from Springhill, LA. For Ms. Amber, participating in the 40 Over 40 portrait experience was about doing something special for herself.

The session went beyond her expectations. “I feel that my session exceeded my expectations. I have never seen myself so beautiful!” she shared. Her favorite part was being herself and having fun. “My session made me more confident in myself,” she said.

Her immediate family includes her wife, three children, and two grandchildren. The greatest loves of her life are her children.

A fun fact about Ms. Amber is that she has three children and two grandchildren.

“Always believe in yourself. You’re way smarter than you think. You can be anything you want to be,” is what she would advise her younger self.

Ms. Amber’s greatest achievement is becoming a nurse at 40.

One thing she’d love to do from her bucket list is to visit Bora Bora.

Ms. Amber felt most confident when she graduated from nursing school. “I had wanted to be a nurse since I was 10 years old,” she said.

Her favorite traits about herself are her eyes and smile.

Her ambitions for the future include going back to school and becoming a nurse practitioner.
