We are excited to introduce you to Ms. Kelly, a vibrant 52-year-old originally from Newton, TX. She is currently residing in Pittsburg, TX where she works as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Ms. Kelly’s decision to participate in the 40 Over 40 portrait experience was driven by a desire to check it off her bucket list. Despite this simple motivation, the session exceeded her expectations. “I had a lot of fun and felt very comfortable,” she shared. Her favorite part was feeling free to just be herself, and the experience left her with increased self-confidence.

Having endured multiple life-altering events, Ms. Kelly emerged with gratitude, wisdom, and strengthened faith. Her immediate family includes her parents and children.  Kelly feels her greatest achievement is raising her three sons.

A fun fact about Ms. Kelly is that she also works on a medical team for federal disasters. 

When asked one thing she might change about herself, she said it would be to learn to love herself sooner. Her motto, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), reflects her unwavering faith.

Ms. Kelly would advise her younger self to remember, “You are worthy,” and dreams of traveling more in the future. She loves traveling and learning, and now she feels really good about herself, knowing she can be happy on her own.

She thinks real beauty is about more than just looks—it’s about who you are inside. And she’s proving that life doesn’t stop at 40. Ms. Kelly emphasized that there is still plenty of life to be lived.
